Senior Solutions Marketing Manager

BC Platforms is looking for a solutions marketer to further develop our solutions positioning and marketing assets with the primary objective to drive brand awareness and conversion across key accounts and target segments globally. This is a high impact role with significant senior exposure and growth possibilities.

Senior Solutions Marketing Manager is a core member of the global marketing team and will be responsible for further developing and executing the solutions side of the marketing strategy through driving highly differentiated positioning of BC Platforms’ software and healthcare data solutions in the target segments of Healthcare and Life Science. The role requires close collaboration with the solutions team, software solutions and data, as well as the demand generation side of the marketing team and sales. BC Platforms’ marketing strategy is centered around the account based marketing concept enabled by differentiated positioning and digital demand generation.

What you will be working on:

  • Lead the creation and ongoing development of marketing assets such as solution specific collateral, case studies, presentations, video content, podcasts, digital campaigns components and technical/scientific support materials including thought leadership pieces
  • Support customer’s journey with content focused on driving brand awareness and market share in key accounts and broadly in the target segments
  • Collaborate with solution owners to write compelling content that describes the product’s ability to meet buyer needs and solve market problems
  • Implement a framework for product launches and drive the solution-level documentation: marketing plan, sales enablement plan, and launch plan.
  • Leverage Gartner and other sources to gather data and insight about target personas, buyer needs, and purchasing decision process for the product, including crucial buyer roles
  • Drive the execution of marketing events such as webinars and industry events
  • Design and coordinate execution of social media thought leadership comms plan and BC Platforms’ blog

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Experience in Healthcare IT, healthcare data offerings marketing experience
  • Very strong narrative writer and visual storyteller skills being able to convey value around the complex solutions driving adoption from early adopters to early market majority
  • Excellent project management and execution skills
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills enjoying to drive change in a fast-paced, thriving environment and developing scalable approaches as you get the work done
  • Organizational influencer skills with the buyer's journey at the center of everything you do
  • You are data driven and strive to measure the impact that your work has on the organization
  • Creative problem solver capabilities that gets things done with the end goal in mind
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and plan well ahead identifying critical paths and focusing on addressing any bottlenecks

Qualifications/requirements for this position:

  • BA/BS degree and 5 years+ experience in marketing, product management, business consulting in the healthcare IT, data, analytics or related field
  • Marketing experience driving adoption of innovative solutions within B2B segment
  • Understanding of clinical and genomics data management is preferred 
  • A track record of making a difference and reaching objectives as set  
  • Strong background in positioning complex offerings, very solid writing skills, and a flair for establishing competitive differentiation
  • High impact creative communicator with strong powerpoint skills
  • Ability to develop positioning strategies for creating pipeline for new offerings and upsell, cross-sell, and support account-based marketing programs to grow existing relationships
  • Ability to manage initiatives, holding yourself and others accountable for meeting critical deadlines and delivering executive-level progress updates
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-team capacity and work across functions (sales, technical) to bring solutions to life
  • Ability to manage external service providers for optimal output
  • Experience with various types of promotional communications in support of buyers’ journey: email campaigns, sales collateral, videos, podcasts

Additional Information

This is a global role in our Marketing team. The position is based in the BC Platforms Zurich office in Switzerland. However, we are open to consider applicants from across EU countries to be based in Zurich, Switzerland. 

Some travel expected, including international travel e.g. internal events. The travels are expected to escalate after Covid19 situation is secured. 

BC Platforms offices are based in Helsinki, Zurich, Boston and Singapore, requiring flexibility in scheduling meetings across geographies.
