BC Platforms is looking for senior members to join our ever-growing Software Development team that builds software platforms aimed at utilizing genomic and clinical data for healthcare organizations, research institutions, pharmaceutical groups, and laboratories around the world.

Our team works in cooperation with industry-leading cloud partners and life scientists so this is a unique opportunity to learn about the newest trends and technologies inside the multidisciplinary field of HIT (Healthcare Information Technology). Your role in our mission:

• Produce high-quality software
• Implement new features and bug fixes as part of the software development team.
• Get familiar with functional specifications by consulting with e.g. Product Managers in order to be able to turn the specifications into a usable product
• Take responsibility for your own code and the quality of it
• Implement functional requirements advised from the Product Manager or Lead Software Developer
• Comprehend the whole codebase including frontend, backend, database and integrated services
• Coordinate work with other software developers
• Help contribute to our culture of open communication, supporting others and having a technical ambition to move forward

Desired experience and skills for this role:

• Full-stack programming skills (we use React and Spring Boot but appreciate experience with any other stacks). Know any of these technologies below?

Additional Information
This position is located in the Technopolis Hub in Espoo, Finland as part of our R&D function. The company operates with a Hybrid Work Model, which consists of both working from the office as well as remotely from the home office.
