This role is in the heart of working cross functionally especially in BC Platforms US office and for its operations. Our BC|Team would benefit from a generalist who is a creative, communicative, collaborative and people-oriented colleague and would be motivated to join our global team. Would you be our new Administrative & Marketing Specialist?
The Administrative & Marketing Specialist has different responsibilities for administrative and assigned office operations, event planning and coordination, sales, marketing & employer branding responsibilities in addition to executive assistance for Chief Commercial Officer, Life Science. This position belongs to the global People Operations function, but works mainly with and for Boston and US employees and other stakeholders in the US market. Some of the development projects or event planning and coordination in addition to marketing activities are to be provided at global level.
BC Platforms’ innovative technology platform enables healthcare providers to implement precision medicine, including enabling research and clinical care. BC Platforms is also continuing to grow and develop its global network of healthcare organizations to provide access to high-quality Real World Data (RWD). BC Platforms is able to provide access to clinical, genomics and imaging data. We have access to a significant amount of GDPR or HIPAA compliant data from Europe, North America, Africa and Asia which is a key differentiator for the company. As a SaaS company, BC Platforms also provides very advanced technology platforms and data management capabilities that enable the customer to maximize the value of the data.
What you will be working on:

Administrative and assigned office operations:
Supports company operations by planning and implementing efficiently administrative and office operations related tasks in the assigned office
Liaising with staff, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders in the territory also by keeping information confidential regarding different stakeholders
Managing project based office budgets that are informed by Line Manager or Executive in charge
Ensuring that the local policies are in place
Responsible for the assigned office and operations audit organization work
Employee onboarding and offboarding tasks in the assigned territory
Independently maintaining the assigned office infrastructure
Project based development work when assigned as part of the People Operations function.

Event planning and coordination:
As part of the People Operations function independently taking care of the company's internal events for employees in accordance with the local Event Calendar
Planning and coordination work of external events and conferences for Sales and Marketing purposes

Sales, Marketing and Employer Branding:
Cooperation with Global Sales Operations and assigned sales operations support tasks
Cooperation with Global Marketing function and taking care of assigned marketing tasks e.g. social media publishing
Cooperation with the People Operations and Marketing functions to participate in employer branding activities

Executive Assistance:
Guarantee that CCO, Life Science work time is organized efficiently and maintain the executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, and travel bookings.
Claim expenses for the executive on a monthly basis.
Support on the executive team members´ performance management process as assigned.
Support the executive in other matters when needed.
The ideal candidate should possess:
Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in the relevant field, or equivalent gained work experience with similar responsibilities
Proven experience in administrative, people management, sales and marketing fields
In-depth understanding of entire MS Office suite and knowledgeable of different applications, systems and tools in addition to quick adaptability of new ones
Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities
Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment
Reliability and discretion with confidential information
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
Professional level verbal and written communications skills in English
Ability to establish credibility, trust and support within all levels of an organization
Interest for Healthcare and Life Science business domain
Motivation to work in global environment with agile mindset
Additional Information
This role will be part of the global People Operations team and reporting to the CPO with a matrix line to CCO, Life Science in the US.
This position is located in Boston, MA. BC Platforms offices are based in Espoo, Zurich, Boston and Singapore, requiring flexibility in scheduling meetings across geographies.
