Your role will be key in ensuring the financial control of our French entity and other international subsidiaries. You will also support the development of reports, and the improvement of processes related to activities within your scope. By joining our Finance team as Financial Controller, you will directly contribute to efficient financial management of our company.

What you will do

• Assume responsibility for the financial control of the group's French entity and other international subsidiaries that will be assigned to you.
• Support and develop reports and processes related to your activities and the revenue generated.
• Ensure that monthly closings are carried out correctly.
• Oversee the consolidation of the income statements and balance sheets of the French entity and the subsidiaries assigned to you.
• Provide monthly adjustment data and other closing support documents.
• Verify the accuracy of the income statements and balance sheets of the French entity.

What we expect from you

• Within 3 months: Take charge of the accounts of the French entity and the subsidiaries assigned to you, ensuring the reliability of monthly closings
• Within 6 months: Develop new reports and analyses to improve strategic decision-making within the company
• Within a year: Optimize existing financial processes and implement new procedures to increase efficiency

What you need to apply

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, management control or financial management
• Proficiency in English and French, both spoken and written, as you interact daily with your French and English-speaking colleagues and stakeholders.
• More than 5 years of successful experience related to French accounting
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and transfer pricing
• Proficiency in MS Office suite including advanced use of Excel

Bonus points if you have

• Working experience with global accounting in international context
• Advanced mastery of financial management tools (Netsuite, Power BI, etc.)
• Excellent analytical and synthesis skills

Additional Information

Our Finance team is mostly located in Technopolis Hub in Espoo (Otaniemi) and thus Espoo is the preferred location for our new financial controller colleague. If you are located nearby Turku area, you can also work at our office in Turku (Kupittaa).

Working time could be negotiated from 60% (3 days a week) to 100%.
